When I found out I would represent my company at 6 hours of training on how to do presentations, I rolled my eyes and yawned. After all, I know what I'm talking about, have a good speaking voice and I'm capable of organizing info. What else could I possibly need to know?
Well, how to make a better presentation. Your workshop was full of practical, useful information presented in an interesting, engaging manner. I enjoyed it and learned a lot.
Thanks for the useful tools you presented. I answered every question on the GC presentation outline to help organize my thoughts and presentation. I plan to use it in the future so I won’t feel disorganized even when I appear to be organized. I will think on my feet and be more responsive to my audience. Your comments and those from my peers pointed out that stating my data sources, using personal examples and trying to express more emotion would improve my presentation. These are great suggestions.
